Sci Fi Channel has announced the return of actress Lucy "Xena" Lawless to the Vancouver-shot TV series "Battlestar Galactica". Lawless will return to the series for a minimum of two episodes of the show's fourth and final season, currently in production.
Lawless will reprise her role as 'D'Anna', the religious zealot who broke away from the collective voice of her fellow 'Cylons', to sow mistrust among the 'robot race'.
Meanwhile Executive producers Ronald D. Moore and David Eick have announced that the current 22-episode, Season 4 of the Vancouver-shot, Sci Fi Channel TV series will be its last.
"This show was always meant to have a beginning, a middle and finally, an end," said Eick.
"Over the course of the last year, the story and the characters have been moving strongly toward that end and we've decided to listen to those internal voices and conclude the show on our own terms".
