Davis Drifts Into Boom's "North Wind"...

Davis Entertainment, noted for the Vancouver-lensed features "I, Robot" and "Alien vs. Predator" have purchased screen rights to Boom Studios' sci-fi comic book series "North Wind," with comics creator David DiGilio aboard to adapt/executive produce for the big screen.
John Davis will produce the live-action project with Boom co-founders Andrew Cosby and Ross Richie via their Boom Entertainment.
Premise of the story is set in a futuristic Los Angeles after global warming has created a new ice age, with survivors living underground. The new order is ruled by a despotic dictator who exiles citizens to the harsh environment outdoors, until his ruthless actions spark one of the exiles to lead a revolution...
