According to reports, Brit actor Callum "Secret Diary Of A Call Girl" Blue has been cast as 'Phantom Zone' villain 'Zod' for season nine of CW's Vancouver-lensed "Superman" TV series "Smallville".The DC Comics' 'General Zod' character first appeared in "Adventure Comics" #283 (April 1961), created by Robert Bernstein and George Papp.
Also in the new season, actor Brian Austin "90210" Green will play the villain 'Metallo'.The DC Comics' character is a 'cyborg' with a 'Krytonite' power source which he uses as a weapon against 'Superman', debuting as 'John Corben' in "Action Comics" #252 (May 1959)...
