"The Uninvited" on Bowen Island...

Remaking director Kim Jee-Woon's 2003 Korean feature "Changhwa Hongryon" on Bowen Island, British Columbia, the premise of DreamWorks' "The Univited" follows 'Anna' (Emily Browning) who returns home after spending time in the hospital following the death of her mother.

Her recovery suffers a setback when she discovers that her father (David Strathairn) has become engaged to her mother's former nurse 'Rachel' (Elizabeth Banks).

Following a visit by her mother's ghost, Anna and her sister (Arielle Kebbel) try to convince their father that his current fiancée is not who she pretends to be and what should have been a happy family reunion becomes a lethal battle of wills between stepdaughters and stepmother...

"Watchmen": "Tales Of The Black Freighter"...

From Zack Snyder, director of "Watchmen" comes two stories from the graphic novel that do not appear in the Vancouver-lensed "Watchmen" theatrical feature.

"Tales of the Black Freighter" (featuring the voice of actor Gerard "300" Butler) brings to animated life the novels' layered story, a pirate saga whose events mirror those in the "Watchmen" world.

Also, stars from the "Watchmen" movie team in the live-action/CGI "Under the Hood", based on the 'Nite Owl' first-hand account of how the adventurers came into existence...
