"I Love You, Beth Cooper" was author Larry Doyle's first novel published May 2007, set on graduation night at 'Buffalo Glenn High School' where a 'class nerd' declares his love for cheerleader 'Beth Cooper' during a graduation speech, setting off an awkward chain of events.
In 2008 the book was adapted into a feature starring actress Hayden "Heroes" Panettiere, directed by Chris "Home Alone" Columbus and filmed in residential Vancouver at Centennial Secondary, Magee Secondary and St. Patrick's Regional, with our own Michael Stevens appearing as a high school teacher.
