Sneak Peek 5 new character banners, supporting the Vancouver-lensed fantasy-adventure feature "Sucker Punch", written (with Steve Shibuya) and directed by Zack Snyder ("Watchmen") .
"Sucker Punch" stars Emily Browning, Abbie Cornish, Jena Malone, Vanessa Hudgens and Jamie Chung, following a young girl in the 1950's about to be 'lobotomized' as she attempts to escape an asylum with her inmate friends.
For "Sucker Punch", Snyder gathered most of the Vancouver-based production team who worked on "Watchmen", with pre-production in Los Angeles June 2009, followed by a move to Vancouver in July. Principal photography started in September and concluded January 2010.
Sucker Punch is scheduled to be released in both conventional and IMAX theatres March 25, 2011.
