Sneak Peek "The A-Team"

"The A-Team" is the Vancouver-lensed feature based on "The A-Team" TV series, to be released June 11, 2010, from 20th Century Fox.

The film is directed by Joe "Narc" Carnahan and produced by brothers Ridley and Tony Scott, with the updated plot shifting from Vietnam to the Middle East.

Both producer Jules Daly and series creator Stephen J. Cannell are involved in the new film, which, according to co-screenwriter Michael Brandt, is grittier than the TV series and more in the (jugular) vein of "Casino Royale".

Cast stars Liam "Darkman" Neeson as 'Col. John "Hannibal" Smith, Bradley Cooper as 'Lt. Templeton "Faceman" Peck', Quinton Jackson as 'Sgt. B.A. "Bad Attitude" Baracus', Sharlto Copley as 'Capt. H.M. "Howling Mad" Murdock', Jessica Biel as 'Lt. Carissa Sosa', Patrick Wilson as 'Lynch' and Gerald McRaney as 'General Morrison'.

Nostalgic cameos in the film include actor Dwight Schultz and Dirk Benedict who were in the original series.
