As in the original series, "The A-Team" follows the adventures of three US soldiers who were arrested for a crime they did not commit.

The new film will be released in North America June 11, 2010 by 20th Century Fox.
"The A-Team" is directed by Joe Carnahan ("Narc") for producers Sir Ridley and Tony Scott.
Original "A-team" TV series producer Jules Daly and series creator Stephen J. Cannell are both involved in the new feature.
According to screenwriter Michael Brandt, the adaptation is more gritty in its depiction of violence, in the vein of "Die Hard" and "Casino Royale".
Cast also includes Bradley Cooper as 'Lt. Templeton "Faceman" Peck', Quinton Jackson as 'Sgt. B.A. "Bad Attitude" Baracus', Sharlto Copley as 'Capt. H.M. "Howling Mad" Murdock', Jessica Biel as 'Lt. Carissa Sosa', Patrick Wilson as 'Lynch' and Gerald McRaney as 'General Morrison'.
