Actress Kyra Sedgwick ("The Closer") will join Jeffrey Dean Morgan ("Watchmen") in director Ole Bornedal's Ghost House Pictures feature "Dibbuk Box", set to start in Vancouver, January 31, shooting until March 20.
Screenplay is by Juliet Snowden and Stiles White ("Knowing").
Produced by Sam Raimi and Rob Tapert, and 'inspired by true events', premise follows a young girl who purchases an ancient box at a yard sale and then starts behaving erratically, as the box contains a 'dibbuk' spirit that inhabits and "...eats the soul of its human host...".Click the images to enlarge...
