CBC's celebrity chef Jonathan Chovancek, from the TV series "Village On A Diet" and his partner, award-winning mixologist, local radio/tv personality Lauren Mote, recently opened the new British Columbia catering & events company "Kale & Nori Culinary Arts".
"At 'Kale & Nori', we specialize in elegantly conceived cuisine and mixology," said co-owner Mote, also noted as the founder of Vancouver's "Cocktail Kitchen Series", the city's largest and longest running cocktail/food pairing competition.
One of Vancouver’s top catering chefs, Chovancek is also a contributor to CBC’s "Live Right Now" national campaign and a regularly featured guest on CityTV’s "Breakfast Television".
