Kale & Nori Culinary Arts will launch the new "Bittered Sling Bistro", November 8, 2011 as a twice a month food and cocktail pairing competition, "...dedicated to pushing the boundaries of cocktail craft..." @ Legacy Liquor in the Olympic Village, Vancouver.
The evening event will begin with a cocktail reception and paired hors d’oeuvres, with guests guided though an interactive tasting, led by a guest bartender. Kale & Nori's celebrity Chef Jonathan Chovancek will then create a special three course menu. Following dinner, guests will be invited to rate presentation and pairing skills. The two top scoring bartenders at the end of the program will compete for a grand prize.
