Sony Pictures' "Jack and Jill", the new slapstick, comedy feature starring Adam Sandler in a 'twin' role and actor Al Pacino in a parody of himself, is now in theatres, distributed by Columbia Pictures.
Directed by Dennis Dugan, "Jack and Jill" is produced by Todd Garner, Sandler and Jack Giarraputo, from a screenplay by Ben Zook, Steve Koren and Robert Smigel :
"...'Jack Sadelstein' (Sandler), a successful advertising executive in Los Angeles with a beautiful wife (Katie Holmes) and kids, who dreads one event each year: the Thanksgiving visit of his identical twin sister 'Jill' (Sandler). Jill's neediness and passive-aggressiveness is maddening to Jack, turning his normally tranquil life upside down..."
Along with Sandler, Pacino and Holmes, cast also includes Valerie Mahaffey, Eugenio Derbez, Tim Meadows, Nick Swardson, Natalie Gal, Allen Covert, Dana Carvey, Al Pacino, Regis Philbin, Shaquille O'Neal, Johnny Depp, David Spade, Rob Schneider and Norm MacDonald.
"Jack and Jill" was produced under Sandler's production company Happy Madison, lensed in Los Angeles and on the cruise ship 'Allure of the Seas'.
