Justice For The "Man Of Steel"

Actor Henry Cavill recently talked about his upcoming role as 'Kal-El', 'Clark Kent', 'Superman' for director Zack Snyder in the "Man of Steel", opening June 14, 2013.
The new live-action version of the DC Comics' character is based on a story co-written by Christopher Nolan ("The Dark Knight Rises"). "What I can say is that it's a modernization of the character," said Cavill about his role, "and a very realistic view of one, obviously, very fantastic individual. "It's an unreal situation, but it's approached from a very practical viewpoint. We wanted to make the character easier to identify with.
"It’s important to do the role justice..." "The big challenge," said director Snyder, "is if you can make people feel 'What would you do if you were Superman?' That’s what we went out to do as far as we could. Superman’s always been this kind of big blue boy-scout up on a throne that nobody can really touch, so we tried to make him relatable."
Using Chicago as a backdrop, the film started US principal photography August 1, 2011 under the working title "Autumn Frost". British Columbia shooting started September 21, 2011 on land owned by a First Nations group, a small town posing as an Alaskan fishing village and at an industrial dock along the Pacific coast.
"...'Clark Kent'/'Kal-El' is a young twentysomething journalist who feels alienated by powers beyond anyone's imagination. Transported to Earth years ago from 'Krypton', an advanced alien planet, Clark struggles with the ultimate question—'Why am I here?'  Shaped by the values of his adoptive parents 'Martha' and 'Jonathan Kent', Clark soon discovers that having super abilities means making very difficult decisions. But when the world needs stability the most, it comes under attack.
"Will his abilities be used to maintain peace or ultimately used to divide and conquer? Clark must become the hero known as 'Superman', not only to shine as the world's last beacon of hope but also to protect the ones he loves."
"Man of Steel" also stars Amy Adams as 'Lois Lane, Michael Shannon as 'General Zod', Antje Traue as 'Faora', Laurence Fishburne as 'Perry White', Kevin Costner as 'Jonathan Kent', Diane Lane as 'Martha Kent', Harry Lennix as 'General Swanwick' and Christopher Meloni as 'Colonel Hardy'. "Man Of Steel", from Legendary Pictures, Syncopy Films, DC Comics and Cruel and Unusual Films, will be released June 14, 2013.
