"The Flash": More DC Comics Superheroes Revealed

According to The CW, more DC Comics superheroes and villains will be joining "Arrow" spin-off TV series, "The Flash":

Robbie Amell, ("The Tomorrow People") and cousin of "Arrow" actor Stephen Amell, will appear in "The Flash" as 'Ronnie Raymond', aka DC Comics' 'Firestorm", a 'S.T.A.R. Labs' maintenance worker and fiancĂ© of  'Dr. Caitlin Snow'.

"...created in 1978 by Gerry Conway and Al Milgrom, the original 'Firestorm' was High school student 'Ronnie Raymond' and Nobel Prize-winning physicist 'Martin Stein' who were both caught in a nuclear accident that allowed them to fuse into the nuclear man 'Firestorm'.

"Due to Stein's being unconscious during the accident, Raymond was prominently in command of the Firestorm form with Stein a voice of reason inside his mind.

"Banter between the two was a hallmark of their adventures...

Also appearing in the new series is super-villain, the 'Trickster' debuting in DC Comics "The Flash" #113 (June–July 1960) as a practical joker, conman whose favorite occupation is damaging enemies like 'Flash' with items such as explosive teddy bears.

Trickster's alter ego is 'James Jesse', a stage name to replace his true identity, 'Giovanni Giuseppe', a circus acrobat who decided to become a criminal just like his 'reverse namesake' Jesse James. He created shoes that allowed him to walk on air to first help him in the trapeze shows his family was in, as every member of his family was a trapeze expert and his father wanted him to be one also, and other dangerous gag gadgets for his crimes. He clashed with 'Barry Allen' aka the Flash (Barry Allen) many times.

The Trickster has a number of trick items that he employs including itching powder, potato head bombs, exploding rubber chickens, exploding yo-yos, sharpened jacks, hard shell candy and various other joke-themed weapons.
