CelticFest Vancouver: St. Patrick's Day Parade...

Sunday, March 16 the 5th Annual Edgwater Casino CelticFest Vancouver St. Patrick's Day Parade saw thousands of people jamming the sidewalks along Vancouver's Granville & Howe Streets.

CelticFest Vancouver is a non-profit Society with a mission to bring together all aspects of the local Celtic community in an annual festival celebration, culminating in a St. Patrick's Day Parade
.

Community partners include the Scottish Cultural Centre, Rogue Folk Club, Vancouver Irish Sporting & Social Club, Scottish Dance Society, Irish Dance Society, The Ireland Monument Project, Celtic Connection News, Celtic Woolens, Vancouver Board of Trade - Spirit of Vancouver, Granville Street Merchants, City of Vancouver and many others.

Following breakfast @ the Holiday Inn on Howe, we headed into the streets to film motorcycle units, multi cultural floats and marching bands.

After the parade, the 'Celtic Village' provided free family entertainment throughout the day.
