The "30 Days Of Night" direct-to-DVD, horror movie sequel "30 Days Of Night: Dark Days" will lense in Vancouver, October 20 to November 24.
Main character 'Stella Olsen' (Melissa George) returns as part of a group of 'vampires' out for revenge, in a new sceenplay written by Steve Niles and Ben Ketai, who also wrote two "30 Days of Night" webseries.Ketai will direct "Dark Days".
The original "30 Days of Night" feature, filmed in 2007, adapted the comic book mini-series of the same name, directed by David Slade, starring actors Josh Hartnett, Melissa George and Danny Huston. Premise of that movie focused on the Alaskan town of 'Barrow', cursed with vampires, as it enters into a thirty day period without sunshine.
