Clarkson Named CEO Of UBCP

Keith Clarkson has been named head of the Union of BC Performers (UBCP) as Chief Executive Officer, Chief Negotiator.

In 2000, Clarkson was hired by Telefilm to transform the Canadian New Media Fund into a key funding source for innovative interactive content, working with Canadian producers and funding agencies, leading Canadian new media into Los Angeles, Cannes and London.

In 2005, Clarkson joined Xenophile Media as Chief Executive Officer overseeing a slate of cross-platform projects for BBC, Cartoon Network and Disney, with the company garnering two Emmy awards and "Total Drama Island – Totally Interactive!" attracting over seven million players in 30 countries, serving as a revenue model for the Bell Broadcast and New Media Fund.
