IMAX Corporation and Summit Entertainment will release "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse", third film in the studio's "Twilight" franchise and second feature lensed in Vancouver, to IMAX(R) theatres simultaneously with the film's launch June 30, 2010.
Directed by David "Hard Candy" Slade, starring Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner, "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse" will be digitally re-mastered into the image/sound quality of 'The IMAX Experience' using proprietary 'IMAX DMR(R)' (Digital Re-mastering) technology.
The imaging coupled with IMAX's customized theatre geometry and digital audio will create a 'unique' environment that will make audiences feel as if they are 'in' the vampiric teen romance.
