The British Columbia Film Commission (BCFC) reports that as of mid-April 2010, 24 film projects (5 features, 1 DVD feature, 6 MOWs, 4 Pilots and 8 TV series) are currently shooting in the province.Notable projects greenlit for spring/summer starts include "The Big Year", starring Owen Wilson, Steve Martin and Jack Black, directed by David Frankel ("Marley And Me") "The Planet of the Apes" prequel "Caesar-Rise of the Apes" and "The Girl in the Red Riding Hood" starring Amanda Seyfried.
