Producers of the Vancouver-lensed, DC Comics adaptation "Arrow" are currently casting for an actress to play the dragon tattooed Japanese female archer 'Shado' in an upcoming episode.
The character will appear in the 14th episode of the series, titled "The Odyssey".
Created by Mike Grell, Shado debuted in DC Comics' "Green Arrow: The Longbow Hunters" #1 (August 1987), as an expert martial artist and master of 'Kyudo', the Japanese art of archery.
Her weapon of choice is a 30 kilogram bow, with Japanese bamboo arrows 97.5 centimetres long.
